2. SERVICES PROVIDED

Second Books Publisher offers editorial services, including:

  • Grammar and spelling review;
  • Layout and formatting of manuscripts;
  • Creation of custom covers;
  • Publication and dissemination on digital platforms;
  • Translation and illustration (when contracted).

All services are subject to the conditions detailed in the specific contracts signed with the authors.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • The author retains all copyrights to his/her work.
  • Second Books Publisher is not responsible for any copyright infringement committed by the author.
  • The content published on this website, including texts, images and graphics, belongs to Second Books Publisher and may not be reproduced without authorization.

4. PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

  • Payments must be made in Linden Dollars (L$), according to the prices indicated.
  • 50% of the amount must be paid at the time of signing the contract and 50% upon completion of the service.
  • There are no refunds for completed services. In the event of early termination, the rules established in the service provision contract apply.


5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

The user agrees to:

  • Provide truthful information when requesting a service;
  • Not use the website for illegal or fraudulent purposes;
  • Respect the rights of third parties and copyright laws.


6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Second Books Publisher is not responsible for delays resulting from force majeure or unforeseen technical problems.
  • We do not guarantee sales volume or profit for publications made.
  • Second Books Publisher is not developed or licensed by Second Life. Second Life© belongs to Linden Research, Inc.

7. MODIFICATIONS TO THE TERMS

Second Books Publisher reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice. We recommend that users review this page periodically.
